Raindrops

The last few days saw some torrential rainfall in Calcutta. Taking the camera out was out of the question. This was shot against the overcast sky from the terrace.

A close shot of flowers inspired by Edward Weston – Cabbage Leaf – 1931. Definitely not in the Weston class, but for me, its an interesting shot none the less.

Orange Lilies

Orange lilies that bloomed today morning after the squall yesterday. Was wondering if I could shoot the lilies before I went off again.

This has been taken on the terrace of our house in New Alipore.
