Goodbye
Its been a week and it is still difficult to come to terms that my friend is no more. I met him last on the 8th of July before I traveled and wished him well.
I knew that the prognosis was not good. His cancer had spread and the doctors had discontinued the chemotherapy and had started palliative medication. I still hoped that I would meet him again in September, during my trip home. But that was not to be. He left us at 6.00 am on the 22nd of July.
The picture is of the last road trip to Nah'riya in January 2015.
