More with the Panasonic G1

Some more pictures with the Panasonic G1.

It was Christmas and by the time I landed home from office (it was a working day here in the KSA), the sun was setting with a lovely glow.

We had already planned to go out for dinner to a small but famous restaurant called "Baasha", famous for its pizzas.

I like what I see a lot! I'm toying with the idea of getting a G1 series myself for casual shooting but that has to be weighed against the option of getting a D3100: I will not be lost for lenses!

I too like the quality of the Panasonic G1. The quality of the 14-45mm lens is excellent. The 45-200 mm is $250 at Amazon.com. That will cover 28-400mm in 35 mm terms.

I have used a D3000 and it is good too. Very well balanced but a lot bigger (though a lot smaller than my D300). The D3100 would be a very good choice too.
